I'm a fourth-year Electrical Engineering and Computer Science student at UC Berkeley, currently exploring Los Angeles and interning on the Data Team at SpaceX. This past fall, I was a teaching assistant for UC Berkeley's Database Systems course. I've also interned at Udacity and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and more recently at Yahoo! as a product manager intern on Account Key. Outside of school and work, I love to go to concerts, travel, play guitar, vlog, and watch sports. Feel free to contact me to meet up!

A handmade card seemed more heartfelt. (Pun intended.) Also some freelance work, my first introduction to the iterative design process with a customer! See more at my Behance.
Illustration, Graphic DesignAs part of a student organization called Design Engineering Collaborative, I learned how to draw models in Autodesk 360 and ship them to slicing software like Cura.
3D Printing, CADThrough the Association of Women in EE/CS, I went to a luncheon with the UC Berkeley EE Department Chair, Tsu-Jae King . I learned that there are only about 30 other female EECS majors in my year, and I wanted to learn more about why this was the case. I made this infographic to show people my conclusions.
Illustration, Graphic Design, StorytellingI put together a proposal for a way for teachers to assign skills to students. These are some of the mockups -- follow this link for more context.
Wireframing, ProductThis project is inspired by something I saw on Tumblr, so I reversed engineered it. It takes the time from a 24-hour clock, converts that time into hexadecimal, and uses the hexadecimal color value as the background of the website.
Web Development, ProgrammingHere are a few CSS animations. Check out a cloud upload, infinite stars (with celestial guidance!), a loading animation, and a hover effect. (Work in progress: loading animation and infinite stars for mobile.)
Web Development, UI/UX DesignThis project arose out of a joke that my friend Amy (also known as Chang) and I would drop out of school to open a food truck. I wrote out a business plan in the form of a Lean Canvas -- I'm no master chef, but luckily Chang is.
Branding, Product DevelopmentThis project was inspired by crowded office hours that enevitably occur before big project deadlines. It aims to foster a collaborative environment that is conducive to getting people's questions answered, quicker.
Web Development, ProgrammingI went to San Diego over winter break with my family. We visited the San Diego Safari Park and went whale watching. Strangely enough, we saw more dolphins than whales.
TravelThe Sutro baths are what is left of a late 19th-century private bath house. My friend Marcella and I walked on top of the walls and into the surrounding caves.
TravelI saw Childish Gambino in Berkeley in Fall 2014 and Sam Smith in San Francisco in Winter 2015. They are two very different artists and two of my favorites.
ConcertsOver winter break, I took a trip to St. Louis and Chicago, where I met up with my friend Smitha. Notably, we visited The Arch, The Bean, and the Chicago Art Institute, which was well worth the 5 AM train ride from St. Louis to Chicago.
TravelI visited the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on the way to the Caribbean (U.S. Virgin Islands and the Bahamas) with my family over the summer.
TravelI went snowboarding for the first time over winter break at Mt. Rose in Reno. We fell, a lot.
TravelI took a weekend trip down the Central Coast to Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Carmel with my family. We hiked around Point Lobos, explored the Mystery Spot, and saw Nemo & Co. at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
TravelHow often is the Super Bowl hosted in your very own backyard? My roommate and I hopped on BART and explored Super Bowl City in San Francisco -- after grabbing Mexican food in the Mission, of course.
